Report summary

Rio Grande LNG is a proposed US Gulf Coast liquefaction terminal close to the US/Mexican border, south Texas. The terminal site occupies almost 1,000 acres on the north bank of the deepwater Brownsville Ship Channel, seven miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico. Next Decade plans to develop the project in two phases, with three trains and 13.5 mmtpa capacity in each phase. Each train will be a conventional large-scale design with 4.5 mmtpa capacity.
