Thailand LNG long-term outlook 2017: Hungry for more LNG

Report summary

To ensure that demand is met despite falling domestic gas production, PTT is looking to increase LNG supply and infrastructure. Several efforts have been made by Thailand in 2016 to achieve this: PTT signed a SPA with BP, the NEPC approved PTT's supply agreements with Shell and PETRONAS and also EGAT's plans to build a 5.0 mmtpa FSRU.
