Report summary

2015 will be a watershed year for Northeast Asia, as a host of key energy developments reach an inflection point. While low oil prices are being warmly welcomed in the major LNG importing markets of Japan, Korea and Taiwan, all three markets continue to face pressing decisions within their own energy sectors. The role of nuclear, coal and renewables, slowing economic growth and the push for power and gas market liberalisation are all driving the agenda in 2015.
