Report summarySince the massive gas discoveries of 2010, Mozambique, with its stable democracy and fast growing economy, has become an attractive investment destination. The government has been receptive to this investment, and has pushed through new legislation to govern the sector and facilitate the construction of LNG facilities, expected by 2020. However, institutional deficits have led to delays, which are likely to worsen in the future as the government tightens local content and DMOs.
