Myanmar economic outlook Q2 2015

Myanmar economic outlook Q2 2015

Report summary

Myanmar’s economy has seen a revival following the election victory by the National League for Democracy (led by Aung San Suu Kyi) in April 2012. We expect the improving domestic business environment to support robust GDP growth over the forecast period. However, opening up Myanmar's economy is not without risk, and major market reforms will be needed over the coming decade.
