Verisk Maplecroft Country Risk Report Indonesia Q3 2015

Report summary

Since assuming office in October 2014, President Joko Widodo (commonly known as Jokowi) has introduced significant policy reforms, which should gradually improve the general business environment. The new government came to power with a mandate to reverse slowing growth and has implemented a raft of reforms.   Meeting its ambitious fiscal target will be dependent on achieving ambitious increases in tax revenues this year which seems overly optimistic.
