Black Volta gold mine project
Report summary
The Black Volta project, formerly the Wa project, property comprises 3 tenement blocks (including the Wa-Lawra blocks to the west and the Josephine, Julie-Collette licenses that make up the Wa East block). A staged mining approach from a series of open pits is planned, with ore production from the Kunche, Bepkong and Aduane deposits in the Wa Lawra block, and the Julie and Collette deposits in the Wa East block. Ore from the Wa East block will be trucked 85km to a carbon in leach (CIL) plant at Kunche for processing.
