Boto Gold Project
Report summary
Boto is planned as an open-pit mining operation with gold recovery in a 2.75Mt/a carbon-in-pulp processing plant. Average annual gold production of 140koz/a is planned over a 13 year mine life (160koz/a in years 1 - 6). Initial project capex was estimated at US$254 million. An investment decision and board approval for construction is expected in H2 2019, pending approval of the mining concession by the Government of Senegal.
