Report summary

Philex refers to the Boyongan and the Bayugo deposits as the Silangan project. This is a porphyry copper deposit. The oxide ore is to be processed via sulphuric leaching whilst the sulphide is to be processed by conventional flotation techniques. A gold doré is also to be produced via gravity separation. The pre feasibility study was completed by July 2014. In 2015 the company was in the process of evaluating potential partners and assessing market conditions for fund raising. A the same time the feasibility study was expected to be completed by the end of 2015 and production was expected by 2018. Wood Mackenzie takes a conservative view an assumes a start up date by 2019.
