Carmacks SxEw copper mine project
Report summary
Carmacks is an open-pit copper project in Yukon, Canada. It is 220 km north of Whitehorse, Yukon and 400 km from year-round port at Skagway, AK. The end products of the mine are copper cathode from heap leach SxEw and gold-silver dore from cyanide leach. The life of mine is expected to be 7 years. The project is in an engineering/permitting status with a Preliminary Economic Assessment completed in November 2016.
