Report summary

Carrapateena is a greenfield iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) project in South Australia approximately 250 kilometres south east of OZ Minerals' Prominent Hill mine. An underground sub level caving operation has been proposed with onsite processing by crushing grinding and flotation to produce a copper gold concentrate with silver credits. The project also includes a centralised Concentrate Treatment Plant (CTP) to be built in Whyalla capable of upgrading concentrate grade to 60% copper. Total pre production capital costs has been estimated at A$975 million.
