DBM gold mine project

Report summary

The De Bron Merriespruit (DBM) project is located adjacent to the Beatrix mine in the Free State province of South Africa, both are owned by Sibanye. The DBM project is planned as an underground operation utilising conventional stoping methods.  Mine life is estimated at 25 years at a production rate of 80kt/mth. The process plant is anticipated to be comprise a carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit. The DBM project was consolidated into the Southern Free State(SOFS) project which include DBM, Bloemhoek, Hakkies and Robijn projects into one mining right in June 2017. The accompanying analysis only include the project scope of DBM project.
