Global bulk steel alloys short-term outlook April 2023
Report summary
Since our last short-term outlook report, the fundamentals underpinning bulk steel alloy markets have not changed appreciably. Despite firm indications of improved market conditions, growth in end-use consumption has remained lacklustre. In western markets, overhanging uncertainty remains in place and in China, sentiment has cooled as the much anticipated "post-reopening" recovery has so far, proven to be less fruitful than earlier expected.
