Haile gold mine
Report summary
The property is in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The Haile mine is a conventional open pit operation utilising drill and blast mining methods. The process plant comprises a grinding, flotation, cyanide leach, carbon handling and refining facility. All major permits were received by Q4 2014 and construction commenced in Q2 2015. First gold was poured in January 2017, and commercial production was achieved in October 2017.
