Report summary

Western Turner Syncline (WTS) is one of Rio Tinto's wholly owned Hamersley group of operations located 25 kilometres south west from the town Tom Price. It started first production in 2010 and will eventually produce 30Mtpa as it replaces production from the Tom Price iron ore mine which will exhaust its reserves in coming years.
