Hazira steel plant
Report summary
Hazira plant is located on the west coast of India in Gujarat state. The plant produces a range of flat rolled products, including hot rolled coils, cold rolled and galvanised sheets, steel plate and pipe. Previously owned by Essar Steel, Hazira plant was acquired by consortium of ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel in 2020. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
