Iduapriem (including Teberebie from 2001) gold mine
Report summary
The operation comprises the Iduapriem and Teberebie gold deposits, mined by conventional truck and shovel open-pit mining methods. It is located adjacent to the Tarkwa gold mine (owned by Gold Fields). Ore is treated in a 5 Mt/a carbon-in-pulp (CIP) processing plant. Coarse gold (30% of total production) is recovered via a gravity concentrate circuit and the balance via the CIP circuit. In 2022, Iduapriem produced 248koz of gold. Mill throughput is expected to increase to 5.8Mtpa by 2024
