India's recipe for aluminium growth
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
During our recent research trip to India it was apparent that the major aluminium producers were fully committed to growing their presence in aluminium. The competitiveness of the Indian aluminium industry relies on vertical integrated structures with assets in all stages of the aluminium value chain, including bauxite, alumina, power, aluminium metal and semi-fabrication. To various degrees, these companies also control key energy and raw material assets such as coal mines and caustic soda plants.
