Report summary

Conceicao is located on the north-east side of Vale's Itabira complex, located in the Quadrilátero Ferrífero (QF) region of Minas Gerais state, Brazil. It produces a mix of fines and concentrate products for the export market. Conceicao's processing costs have increased over the past few years as result of higher amounts lower-quality itabirite ores being mined. Despite this, Conceicao's average total cash cost positions it in the first quartile of our global cost curve.
