With 6 alumina refineries, 3 aluminium smelters and 2 bauxite mines across China, Jinjiang is the second largest alumina producer in China. In recent years, Jinjiang has made it to the top 10 aluminium producers with expansions in Ningxia and Inner Mongolia.
