Report summary

The Superpit is the largest gold mine in Australia producing over 600 koz of gold per year. The mining complex consists of two mines; (the large Fimiston open cut "Super Pit" and small Mount Charlotte underground) and is operated by Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM) a 50/50 joint venture between Barrick and Newmont. The refractory ore averages around 2 g/t Au and around 12 Mtpa is treated at the Fimiston Mill and Gidji Roaster.
