Report summary

Applications for the final permit necessary before the commencement of operations were submitted in Q3, 2014.  Upon receipt of said permit operations are expected to commence in late 2015. The project is owned and operated by EMED in whom a subsidiary of Trafigura has an 18% stake. The Rio Tinto mine last operated in 2001 and the restart plan calls for a 14 year open pit mine. Life of mine strip ratio is 1.1:1 with a plant throughput of 9Mt/a and copper concentrate production of 37kt/a.
