Mulatos gold mine
Report summary
Mulatos is located 220km east of Hermosillo in the state of Sonora in northwest Mexico. Alamos controls a total of 28,973 hectares of mineral concessions in proximity to the mine. Mulatos is a combined open-pit and underground mining operation, and currently includes a number of open pit mines, two crushing facilities, a heap leaching facility, a high-grade mill, gold processing facilities, and related infrastructure. The mine has been operating since 2005, and has produced over two million ounces.
