Natalka gold mine project 

Report summary

Natalka project is owned by Russian company Polyus Gold International and was being developed as a large scale, open pit operation utilising conventional drill and blast, truck and shovel mining methods. The proposed mine was to be the largest gold mine in Russia at 40Mtpa but is now being developed at 10Mtpa due to a reserve downgrade. Commercial production is expected in 2018 and should average approximately 450 koz gold per year.
