Report summary

The Öksüt project is 100% owned by Centerra Gold Inc. through their subsidiary Öksüt Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (OMAS). The deposit will be mined over eight years with average annual gold production of 110koz. Mining will be from two open pits with the ore treated via heap leaching. Pre-development capital is US$221 million. The Öksüt project is made of two open pits, Keltepe and a smaller pit, Güneytepe. Mineral reserves, as of December 2017, stand at 28.2Mt grading 1.3g/t Au for a total of 1.2Moz. This ore is planned to be mined and stacked in a conventional heap leach with an 11kt/d leaching capacity.
