Report summary

On Friday, 16 February the US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross released the Department of Commerce’s results on the investigations carried out under Section 232 into the impact on national security from imports of steel mill products and of wrought and unwrought aluminium. The reports are currently under consideration by the President and a decision on how to proceed has to be made by April 2018. So far the recommendations leave more questions than answers.
