Wood Mackenzie has expanded coverage across the entire China iron ore cost curve through the segmentation of the Chinese iron ore industry. Our analysis shows the weighted average ex-mine total cash costs at US$92/dmt in 2014 (62% Fe equivalent), with a total marketable production capacity of 420 Mtpa. The 90th percentile cost for all China production sits at US$126.9/dmt (62% Fe equivalent).
