Report summary

The property comprises two underground mines - the Turquoise Ridge and Getchell mines - and is operated under a 75:25 joint venture between Barrick Gold (operator) and Newmont Mining. The ore is refractory in nature and is treated at Newmont`s Twin Creeks mill by pressure oxidation technology followed by conventional carbon in leach (CIL)  to recover the gold. With a 2017 reserve grade of 15.53g/t, Turquoise Ridge is one of the highest grade underground mining operations in the world.
