Wasamac gold mine project
Report summary
Wasamac is planned as an underground operation using longhole stoping methods with cemented backfill for primary stopes and un-cemented backfill for secondary stopes. Life of mine (LOM) is estimated at 14 years at an ore production rate of 2.5kt/d, ramping up to 6kt/d in year 3. The process plant will comprise a conventional carbon in pulp (CIP) circuit with an estimated capacity of 2.1Mt/a. Gold production is estimated at around 142 koz per annum.
