Report summary

The Yerilla Nickel Cobalt Project is located 130km north east of Kalgoorlie. It consists of the three resources, Jump-up Dam, Boyce Creek and Aubils. Yerilla was previously a partnership between Australia's Heron Resources and China's Shanshan Ningbo. However, it is understood that Shanshan is no longer subject to the JV partnership and as a consequence is now on a slower development trajectory. In Q4 2015 Heron agreed to sell five of the KNP Yerilla Project mining tenements to a chrysoprase (gemstone) mining group. The company confirmed that it would retain all its nickel and cobalt laterite and sulphide rights. It was also continuing to search for suitable joint venture partners to develop the tenements gold and nickel sulphide potential.
