Report summary

After their October decline nickel prices recovered in November assisted by short covering in the fund community and a market that is looking ahead to the first quarter of 2015 when seasonal restocking through the stainless steel supply chain often takes place. Realisation that the monsoon season is likely to reduce nickel ore shipments from the Philippines to Chinese NPI producers may have added further support.
