Impact of low crude oil price on Asian oils market
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Asian oil market is adjusting to an environment of lower oil prices. Low oil price does not translate to higher demand due to limited pass-through of cost savings, subsidy removal, higher government taxes and lower economic growth in Asia. Asian refiners are currently enjoying crude discounts and earning a high refining margin. However, margins will fall in the second half of 2015 due to the near-term weakness in product market fundamentals.
