New rules won't derail crude-by-rail
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
On May 1 2015, the US and Canada jointly issued new regulations governing crude by rail. Key elements of the regulations include new rail car standard and reduced speed limits. Wood Mackenzie does not expect the new rules to significantly change the outlook for North America crude-by-rail. Rather we continue to forecast growth as oil supply increases and as pipeline constraints persist.
