In our first update for 2021, we largely re-affirm our North American crude differential outlook for the year with continued significant excess midstream capacity that is expected to keep inland differentials tight and weigh on inland refiner margins. In this update, we refresh our views on crude supply, crude differentials, midstream utilization, and inventory outlooks. Additionally, we discuss some North American themes that we are watching in 2021. The early January monthly update features an Executive Summary and the usual related data downloads. The slidepack will resume with the early February report
