The New York strip auction for the 2015 summer delivery period (May through October) will take place March 31, 2014. This short insight summarizes our updated price guidance and changes in supply and demand assumptions driving the new forecast. If this forecast plays out, lower than previously forecasted prices in upstate New York would imply continued pressure on baseload coal and nuclear plants.
