Company Report
OMV refining and oil products summary
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
OMV continued to restructure its business across all segments during 2016, including major divestment in Upstream and Downstream Oil to optimise its portfolio. Capital expenditure was slashed once more in 2016, greatly reducing exploration and appraisal spending in particular. In March 2017 OMV announced the sale of its market-leading Petrol Ofisi fuels marketing business in Turkey for €1.34 billion. This follows several previous divestments across refining and fuels marketing, leaving OMV with a smaller, leaner Downstream Oil unit intended to deliver maximum value to the business in future.
