Report summary

The Bone Spring formation is a sequence of three stacked sandstone intervals - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Bone Spring - that include organic-rich mudstones, interbedded siltstones, shales and detrital limestones and dolostones. In parts of the play the 1st interval is intermingled with the Avalon Shale. The Avalon Shale tends to be more mature and gassier than the Bone Spring.
