Basin-centred tight gas and shale gas potential is thought to exist in the Drava Sub-basin, part of the Pannonnian basin located on the Croatia/Hungary border. This play has been explored less than the Makó Trough to the east. The play lies at significant depth and exploration and development costs will be high.
