Asset Report
Drava sub-basin tight gas unconventional concept play
Report summary
Basin-centred tight gas and shale gas potential is thought to exist in the Drava sub-basin, part of the Pannonian Basin located on the Croatia/Hungary border. This play has been explored less than the Makó Trough to the east. The Drava sub-basin is deep, requiring high exploration and development costs. Additional exploration will be necessary to more fully evaluate the potential of this play. Since there is limited data to indicate its viability, this play is in the concept phase.
