Report summary

The Kiskunhallas Trough is located in southern Hungary, along the Serbian border.  Toreador Resources drilled and initially tested the Balatoszallas Eszak 1 (BA-E-1) well on the Tompa block in April 2009.  The well was the first in the basin to be fracture stimulated.  It was drilled to a depth of 3,620 metres (11,875 feet), encountering a 560 metre (1,840 feet) thick (gross) overpressured section of thin, interbedded layers of siltstone, shale, and sandstone.  The well was completed...
