Report summary

The Polish Carboniferous shale is located in the southeastern and southwestern parts of Poland. It is the source rock for the prolific Permian Rotliegendes sandstone play that runs from The Netherlands and across Germany into Poland. Exploration in this play is at such an early stage that there are no reliable estimates of its resource potential.
