The Wyodak play, located in the Powder River Basin, is one of the largest producing CBM areas in the US Lower 48. The Wyodak-Anderson coals on the eastern flank of the play were the initial focus for development of CBM, but in recent years, interest has moved west to the deeper and thicker Wyodak-Big George coals.
