Report summary

The Ajapa marginal field is located on OML 90 in the western delta and lies in nine metres of water near the mouth of the Forcados river. After disappointing drilling results, the Ajapa reserves turned out to be smaller than expected. It came onstream in 2010 from a single well, tied-into into a 10,000 b/d capacity floating, production and storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
