Apache Corporation is a large independent E&P company with US Lower 48 assets in the Gulf Coast, Permian and Mid-Continent regions. In the Mid-Continent, Apache has been drilling the Anadarko Basin since 1955. The Mid-Continent portfolio consists of both mature assets and growth prospects. The mature assets have long-lived reserves and stable production. Mature production mainly consists of large volumes of natural gas from the Cherokee, Mayes and Atoka formations.
