Report summaryThe Aquila oil field was discovered in 1981. Aquila lies in 850 metres of water, close to the maritime boundary with Albania. The field was originally developed with the Firenze floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) and two subsea wells. Oil was exported by shuttle tanker.
