Report summary

The Aquila oil field was discovered in 1981. Aquila lies in 850 metres of water close to the maritime boundary with Albania. The field was originally developed with the Firenze floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) and two subsea wells. Oil was exported by shuttle tanker. First production from this phase of development was achieved in March 1998. Aquila ceased production in 2006 and the FPSO was removed in 2007.Eni has brought the field back onstream in 2013 by ...
