Report summary

This analysis covers Spain's only onshore oil fields: Ayoluengo, Lora and Hontomin. The fields lie near the city of Burgos in the Basque-Cantabrian basin.Oil production peaked at around 4,000 b/d in the late 1960s. Production fell gradually for the next 30 years, but recovered in 1999 to a secondary peak of 1,400 b/d following development of the Lora field.
