Azar and Changuleh
Report summary
Azar and Changuleh are two of Iran's more recent discoveries. The fields lie within the prolific Zagros fold-belt and are located 300 kilometres northwest of the city of Ahvaz. Azar is shared with Iraq, where it is called Badra, therefore its development is strategically important to Iran.
