The Mer Profonde Sud (MPS) licence contains two fields: Azurite and Turquoise discovered in 2005 and 2009 respectively.A development licence was carved out for Azurite in 2007 and the field was brought on stream in 2009 via a leased floating drilling production storage and offloading (FDPSO) vessel.
