B8/32 (Benchamas)
Report summary
Block B8/32 is one of Thailand's key oil producing areas, containing the large Benchamas oil and gas field, as well as the smaller Tantawan, Maliwan, North Jarmjuree, Chaba and Rajpruek accumulations. A Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) was signed, allowing production from the block to begin in February 1997, with development of the Tantawan field.
