Report summary

The Bains gas field was developed via a single subsea well tied back to the Morecambe South DP1 platform, located eight kilometres to the west. The single horizontal production well was drilled and brought onstream in 2002. After processing on the Morecambe South platform, gas from Bains was transported along with Morecambe South volumes to the onshore terminal facilities at Barrow.
